Faculty with 12month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12month period (JulyJune) meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
Thisindividualwill be a members of a busy academic service performing a variety of clinical duties including outpatientclinical care at the UW Neurology Clinic and general neurology inpatient attending at UWMC and/or Harborview Medical Center.University of Washington faculty engage in teaching research and service.
Assistant Professors areeligible for multiyearappointments that align with a 12month service period (July 1June 30. Faculty with 12month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12month period (JulyJune) meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The base salary range for this position in this title will be $19236 $21462 per month $230832 to $257544 per year) commensurate with experience discipline and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
Our salaries are bench marked based on the AAMC scale. Other compensation associated with this position may or may not include Startup Relocation Incentive/Moving Allowance Administrative supplement for a defined administrative role or Productivity Incentive.
The anticipated start date of this appointment is July 1 2025.
Requires an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent. Completion of a clinical neurophysiology or epilepsy fellowship training program is required. Must be eligible for medical licensure in state of Washington.
In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H1B visa graduates of foreign (nonU.S. medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
