This Paint Shop Supervisor will effectively lead the Vehicle Processing Centers (VPC) Paint Repair teams in support of daytoday business operations. This position will be located in Jaxport Blount Island Marine Terminal.
This associate will oversee the following department responsibilities which include but are not limited to associate development driving efficiency maintain safe work environmentand quality vehicle repairs to Toyota/Lexus vehicles ensuring dealer satisfaction. Inspiring action associate engagement and development are vital competencies of this role.

Responsibilities:
Hire develop and lead a team of technicians.
Document and provide 90day midyear and annual associate reviews.
Support associates through regular development discussions using the Indvidual Development Planning (IDP) process.
Work with leadership to develop communicate and manage departmental objectives.
Use sound judgement to make good decisions leveraging data as needed.
Oversee vehicle repairs to Toyota/Lexus vehicles in a timely manner ensuring a First in First Out (FIFO) prioritization process is followed.
Ensure all Paint shop claims are properly documented and submitted to Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) in a timely manner.
Support the complete paint shop team with technology implementation and equipment needed to complete the job.
Qualifications:
A degree in Automotive Technical/Managment Operations Management or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
Experience leading a team development of others and process improvement is required.
Prior Collision Industry experience in the retail and/or wholesale automotive market.
Extensive understanding and ability to perform flawless repairs within Toyota/Lexus criteria guidelines.
Current or previous Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications are preferred.
Toyota Collision Certifications preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word Excel PowerPoint Power BI Power apps).
Demonstrated analytical skills to provide trends and other information to improve individual team or organizational performance.
Working knowledge of continuous or process improvement methods like Kaizen are preferred.
Customer Service orientation with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Overnight travel required.
