Job Summary

TheResource Development Database and Operations Manager is an integral member of DAP Healths development team and serves as a member of the resource development leadership team. The role is responsible for implementing and managing internal systems procedures and processes to ensure smooth and efficient gift operations as well as robust prospecting efforts. This position will work in support of the resource development department to enhance crossteam collaboration and fundraising strategy through donor database quality control and gift officer accountability. Areas of oversight include data and database management prospect research prospect and donor tracking gift administration reporting processes proposal tracking moves management guru understanding of peertopeer fundraising platforms progress to goal tracking among other key functions.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Review weekly timesheets for accuracy review employee submissions and updates as needed; approve timesheets by required timeline
  • Conduct oneonone meetings (monthly at a minimum frequency preferably biweekly) scheduled conversations and annual performance reviews with direct reports by required timeline
  • Attend mandatory Managers Learning Collaborative trainings
  • Partner with People Operations to:
  • Develop a learning plan for employee development goals to provide tools needed to excel in their position
  • Implement and follow a process to address performance issues as they arise
  • Prepare a comprehensive onboarding process for each specific position for all new hires
  • Address serious issues that may require interventions or investigations
  • Develop and monitor departmental and program/project operating budgets costs and schedules
  • Supervise lead coach and use best management practices to improve staff performance
  • Support and model the identified vision values and behaviors of the organization

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the Virtuous Database ensuring accurate and uptodate donor information
  • Develop and manage protocols for data entry and application usage working closely with support staff to maintain data integrity and resolve any errors or problems with the data
  • Manage the teamwide creation management and tracking of processes and systems to support departmental efficiency and growth
  • Create reports and queries to support donor analytics and segmentation generating actionable insights for fundraising strategies
  • Identify areas of opportunity for predictive modeling to enhance or streamline fundraising and/or marketing efforts
  • Conduct monthly wealth screenings providing prospect research and identifying potential major donors for the team
  • Manage the financial tracking and reconciliation process (including donations pledges sponsorships annual giving and annual giving donations) serving as a liaison between the development finance and brand marketing departments
  • Generate lists for internal and external donor communications ensuring accurate and targeted messaging
  • Utilize knowledge of peertopeer (P2P) fundraising platforms specifically Qgiv to manage the renewal process communication and monthly online recurring gifts
  • Work with the events team to set up and maintain public program registration in Virtuous Qgiv and OneCause platforms. Provide regular registration reporting to Development
  • Oversee monthly mailed gifts tied to donor pledges including renewals status notifications lapses and gift analytics
  • Provide support to the Development and Brand Marketing departments in all donorbased communications and initiatives fostering collaboration and effective teamwork
  • The position reports directly to the Director of Development: Individual Giving and Donor Relationsbut may also be asked to assist the CEO Chief Development OfficerDirectors of Development Director of Institutional Giving and other departments with reports as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge of Google AdWords and other online platforms is a plus along with digital marketing skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate reports conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights for fundraising strategies
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and communicate with donors
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and management
  • Superior communication written verbal skills

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 35 years of experience in database management with a strong understanding of database management principles and related skills
  • Bachelors Degree or Certification in Data Science Data Analytics or Data Management preferred but not necessary for candidacy
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and databases preferably with knowledge of Salsa CRM Salsa Engage Virtuous Qgiv or similar platforms
  • Experience in prospect research and managing monthly wealth screenings is highly desirable
  • Prior experience with P2P fundraising specifically with Qgiv is a plus
  • Candidates with specialized training in database management and/or a degree in Information Technology will be given priority

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

  • This job operates in an office setting and requires frequent times of sitting standing repetitive motion and talking
  • Does not involve contact with patients or patient specimens. No exposure to blood body fluids nonintact skin or tissue specimens
