College Workstudy under the Federal Workstudy (FWS) Program students can earn money for their education by working parttime while enrolled in school either full or parttime. Federal Workstudy funds are limited. Employment and/or positions are not guaranteed for all those who qualify or who apply.
Ready to Work RTW is designed to assist parents participating in the Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (KTAP) to enroll and be successful students. The Ready to Work Program provides a network of support services including outreach and recruitment education and career planning and retention strategies tutoring case management advocacy career coaching and work study job development placement and postplacement services. RTW participants also have access to all supportive services (such as transportation and childcare) and other resources available through KCHFS/DCBS and other agencies.
