Axle is seeking a highly ambitious adaptable structured and detailoriented Medical Illustrator/Biomedical Visualization Specialist to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

Job Description:
- Accurately depict scientific research discoveries using visualization methods.
- Produce biomedical visualizations medical illustrations animations and graphic designs for publication in scientific journals professional videos and multimedia platforms.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other visual information specialists to translate broad scientific concepts into details required to design produce reproduce and or display original visual products or materials.
- Bachelors degree in science or medical field
- Masters degree in Biomedical Visualization or Medical Illustration is desirable
- Experience with biomedical visualization
- Demonstrate superior command of Adobe After Effects and Maxon Cinema 4D animation software
- Exhibit strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud software suite
- Familiarity with best practices in medical/scientific ethics
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn photography skills
- Strong analytic skills
- Adaptive to changes in workflow and works effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Reliable and efficient
- Independent thinker
