The reinvigorated Office of Academic Integrity is looking for a dedicated Operations and Investigations Officer to join the newly established team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the redesign and implementation of an institutional academic integrity framework providing leadership education and investigative support to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity.

The Operations and Investigations Officer will provide high quality support and coordination for a range of academic integrity processes and initiatives. The position works to conduct effective and efficient business processes undertake administrative activities and facilitate good governance and education initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Efficiently triage and respond to enquiries from staff students and the general public.
  • Assist staff with the Academic Misconduct Management System monitor completion of mandatory integrity education modules and address related enquiries.
  • Support academic misconduct investigations in accordance with UOW policies and procedures including report compilation meeting scheduling and outcome documentation.
  • Gather and compile information to support the development of academic integrity reports.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of educational materials resources and information sessions on academic integrity for staff and students.
  • Provide support to a range of academic integrity stakeholder groups including scheduling preparing agendas recording discussions and outcomes preparing minutes and taking followup actions
