Job Description
Amarr is hiring an experienced motivated CDL driver to join our distribution center in West Chester OH as a full time team member. This is the ideal position for the person who loves to contribute to the success of a team as well as provide safe expedient deliveries to our distribution network and customers.
In this position you will:
- Load unload prepare inspect and operate a delivery vehicle three to five days a week within the region (one to two overnights expected per week).
- Provide deliveries to customers and other Amarr Door Centers in a safe and timely manner.
- Provide personal attention to customer requests or product needs.
- Perform warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all phases of operations.
- Perform customer assistance by completion of required staging and assembly tasks.
- Assist with distribution center warehousing tasks such as unloading factory deliveries and other inbound freight as well as loading dock customers.
- Assist in the completion of production orders if not on the road.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must have a valid CDL license be at least 21 years old and possess a clean driving record.
- 35 years experience driving a commercial vehicle.
- Must be able to consistently lift 5075 lb.
- Ability to learn product and work under pressure.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to operate power tools.
- Good customer service skills.
The Details:
This position is Monday Fridayno weekends!! The pay rate starts at $35 based on experience.
