Founded in 2012 and part of the AltX Financial Group AltX focuses singularly on real estate debt investment opportunities in the Australian market offering investors the opportunity to invest in both individual deals and managed funds.
The Role
Reporting to the Manager Funds Management this role supports the Funds Operations team to ensure the needs of existing and new investor clients are met.
Key Activities
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting in managing numerous types of property debt funds and individual investments for investors
- Fund reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Individual investor reporting
- Preparing investment memorandums for investors
- Financial transaction processing
- Analysing financial information and interpreting results
- Maintaining investor and investment database
- Collating data assisting in monthly investor reporting and updating progress reports for different types of investments
- Preparing investor notifications and analysing investment data
- Daily investment activations and repayments processing
Skills and experiences youll bring to the team:
- Tertiary qualifications in finance accounting or another quantitative field
- Around 3 4 years experience working in financial services ideally within fund accounting and/or funds operations or similar
- Currently undertaking CA/CPA CFA or equivalent further studies
- Strong quantitative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills multitasking time management
- Good understanding of numbers and a proficiency with accounting concepts
- Ability to understand and solve complex problems independently
- Financial modelling interest/capabilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products Excel in particular
