Deputy Home Manager Childrens Residential Home
Salary: Up to 40000 Bonus Scheme
Hours: Fulltime 40 hours per week

Are you a dedicated and experienced professional looking for the next step in your career Our client is seeking a Deputy Home Manager to support the leadership of a childrens residential home ensuring a safe nurturing and highquality environment for young people to thrive.

The Deputy Home Manager will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the daytoday running of the home. This is an opportunity to shape young lives lead a passionate team and uphold the highest standards of care and compliance.

What Were Looking For

  • At least 3 years experience working in a childrens residential setting.
  • Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or an equivalent qualification).
  • Proven experience in an Ofstedregulated childrens home with a track record of achieving high inspection outcomes.
  • A strong understanding of the challenges and needs of children in residential care.
  • A compassionate resilient and motivated leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the leadership and management of the home ensuring a warm and supportive environment for children and young people.
  • Support the Registered Manager in achieving Good or Outstanding ratings in Ofsted inspections.
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
  • Provide guidance supervision and training to staff fostering a culture of growth and professional development.
  • Build strong relationships with young people their families and external professionals.
  • Support in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
