QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR I
Position Objective
Performs quality control inspections during the manufacturing of products. Inspects materials parts and products at different stages of production. Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct line assembly subassembly and inprocess inspections.
- Perform Process Assessments involving operators and workstations.
- Interact with Programs Operators Group Leads and Supervisors.
- Provide feedback to operations and Quality Engineers about programs quality issues.
- Check measure and enforce product adherence to programs Quality Assessment Quality Inspection Plans (QAQI).
- Complete respective paperwork/documentation.
- Record inspection results and maintain general filing.
- Enter/extract data in computer.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum two years experience in manufacturing
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must possess good math fundamentals comprehend written work instructions and communicate well.
- Must be willing to obtain general or advanced soldering workmanship standard certification.
- Willingness and ability to obtain/retain ESD Precautions Standards certification.
- Must have a basic understanding of PC systems data entry retrieval.
- Must meet minimum requirements for vision and color recognition tests.
