BeneluxTek Group Inc. (Aerospace Division) is currently seeking highly skilledcertified Heavy Structures Technicianfor one of its clientsinEverett Seattle Washington. PositionTitle: Heavy Structures Technician
Location:Everett Seattle Washington Flight to Everett WA (Included)
ContractType: Full Time 12 Months (Leading to Permanent Position)
Must know: Skin change Floor Beams CTrack on 737 MAX
Must have: Rivet Gun Kit Master Sheet Metal Tool Kit Basic Tool Kit Power tool kit.
Job Overview: Repairoverhaul and modify commercial aircraft accessory components and componentpiece parts as necessary. May occasionally be required to perform other dutiesor responsibilities in addition to or in conjunction with typical workfunctions.
Responsibilities:
- Accomplish assigned repairoverhaul and/or modification to include assembly disassembly inspection andfunctional testing tasks as assigned by leadership while utilizing currentapproved/accepted technical data component maintenance manuals overhaulmanuals engineering orders or technical drawings
- Provide necessary support to aidengineering during development of repair work scope tooling and test fixturedesign as necessary.
- Order parts and materialsrequired for specific jobs assigned utilizing current parts procurementsystems.
- Maintain current and uptodatework orders shop travelers and/or work documents including all pertinentpaperwork related to work accomplished prior to shift change or work stoppage.
- Adhere to and uphold currentcompany standards for production performance housekeeping andprofessionalism includes demonstrating and employing a positive and proactiveapproach to 5S and LEAN philosophies while working in a team environment.
- Confer with your lead orsupervisor to resolve questions or problems.
- Willingness to maintain anacceptable attendance record in accordance with ATS policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Sheet Metal/ Structures:
- Repair replace and rebuild A/C component structures.
- Possess basic computer skills.
- Repair & modify flight control surfaces and components.
- Utilize special installation tools such as blind rivet guns etc.
- Utilize OEM and Engineering drawings to modify aircraft structure.
- Complete specialized tasks such as flap peening cold working etc
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Airframe and Powerplant licensehighly preferred.
- 2 years of related commercial/military aircraft experience required; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience required.
