Job Description
- OnCall 24/7 to assist with Emergency Disasters
- Boarding up windows doors or other openings that require covering
- Use of hand tools and power tools
- Lifting and carrying heavy objects such as lumber plywood and other building materials
- Measure and mark cutting lines to specific dimensions
- Keeping Board Up vehicle clean stocked and wellmaintained
- Assist with Business Development such as transporting the vehicle to events parades etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Professionally represent the PD principles of honesty and integrity
- Work at the direction of the Emergency Response Team and Business Development team
- Proactive communication with management and team leaders
- Show up clean work clean leave work area cleaner than it was when you arrived and clean up after yourself
- Restock supplies
- Jobsite security and safety
- Must Have Valid Drivers License
- Must Be Able to successfully complete preemployment screenings
Education: High School Diploma or Higher
Experience: Entry Level Carpentry Skills
Physical Demands:
- Lift (constantly) 540 lbs. lift (frequently) 20100 lbs.
- Ability to be OnCall at all times 24/7
- May involve significant stand/walk/ push/pull.
- Climbing (ladders etc. balancing crouching frequent stooping reaching kneeling and handling.
- Being comfortable with multistory ladder work
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat.
- Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent times.
- Exposure to fumes from solvents and chemical solutions.
Reports to: Emergency Response Manager
Shift: Will vary based on when calls come in.
