Kingman Unified School District #20 is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SpeechLanguage Pathologists to join the Districts vibrant team. You will work closely with students who have a wide range of communication challenges helping them to find their voice and improve their speaking listening reading and writing skills.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is not only skilled in the latest speech therapy techniques but also has a big heart for children and a strong desire to make a positive impact in their lives.

What We Offer:

• Base payof $68000$74000 which includes $3000 in classroom site fund money to be paid in one lump sumin July 2024
• $1500 per semester for maintaining CCCSLP through ASHA
• 151day employment contract working MondayThursday from July through May

To Qualify:

• Masters or more advanced degree from an accredited institution in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
• SpeechLanguage Pathologist PreK12 Certificate issued by Arizona Department of Education.
• Certificate requirements require
• A minimum of 250 clinical clock hours supervised by a university or speechlanguage pathologist AND
• Exam or ASHA Membership

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card with an IVP number through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

For those who enjoy a smaller community but like a big city nearby Las Vegas is approximately an hour and a half northwest of Kingman which is great for day or weekend trips! For those who love fishing or water activities Bullhead City is a short 30 minute drive and located on the Colorado River. If you like nature you have the opportunity to enjoy the spring flowers just outside Oatman AZ approximately 30 minutes west of Kingman and also get to experience forestry and wildlife yearround including snow in the winter just 20 minutes away in the Hualapai Mountains. Also Lake Havasu City AZ is only one hour away from Kingman and is a hot spot for tourism and a popular location during Spring Break.
