Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Mobile Device Reverse Engineer to support a critical mission of consequence within our Cyber Mission Business Unit in Annapolis Junction MD. In this position you will perform a combination of software design reverse engineering and vulnerability research.
Responsibilities may include:
- Develop software capabilities taking into account the underlying hardware on which they run
- Optimize algorithms and software implementations in order to meet requirements such as binary size utilization and performance
- Perform Agile development accurately estimating the time to complete tasks
- Respond to timesensitive operational requirements
- Understand how malware is detected by personal security products and/or network monitoring and methods to evade such detection
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing of software products (e.g. unit tests functional tests and integration tests)
- Develop software implants that have network communications and the ability to persist across reboots
- Document software designs explain performance tradeoffs made and decompose highlevel designs into specific software development tasks
- Develop find flaws in and modify complex algorithms that span multiple layers of abstraction
- Recommend new technologies and processes to achieve assigned goals
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
- 8 years with a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science System Engineering Information Systems Engineering Science or related discipline.
- 5 years of software engineering / reverse engineering / vulnerability research experience
- iOS development experience
- Binary reverse engineering experience
- Expertise with the C ARM assembly programming languages
- Active TS SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
