Assistant Maintenance Manager Parking Facility
Position Overview:
The Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for assisting in the upkeep repair and daily operations of a parking facility ensuring all systems and equipment function efficiently. This role supports the Maintenance Manager in coordinating maintenance teams managing service schedules and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Maintenance: Oversee routine maintenance repair and servicing of parking equipment lighting signage ventilation and security systems.
- Equipment Management: Ensure parking gates ticket machines elevators and surveillance cameras are in good working condition. Arrange for necessary repairs or replacements.
- Team Supervision: Assist in supervising maintenance staff assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed on time and to standard.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement schedules for regular inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected breakdowns.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance work.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the facility adheres to local regulations fire safety codes and occupational health and safety standards.
- Inventory & Budgeting: Monitor stock levels of maintenance supplies and assist in budget planning for repairs and replacements.
- Emergency Response: Assist in handling emergency situations including equipment failures power outages or weatherrelated damage.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns related to facility maintenance and safety.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in electrical mechanical or facility maintenance preferred.
- Experience: 2 years in maintenance facility management or a related field preferably in a parking facility or similar environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical systems HVAC plumbing and parking equipment maintenance.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise staff and work collaboratively with teams.
- ProblemSolving: Strong troubleshooting skills for quick resolution of maintenance issues.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with vendors staff and customers.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods.
Work Schedule:
- May require evening weekend or oncall shifts depending on facility needs.
Pay DOE range $43000$45000 Full Medical Dental and Vision Insurance
Qualifications
Basic Maintenance skills needed. Familiarity with basic HVAC Plumbing and Electrical a plus. Need a reliable person to grow with our company.
