    Job Posting: Adult Education Persistence Liaison

    Position: Adult Education Persistence Liaison
    Hours: 36 hours per week
    Wage: $18.91 per hour
    Location: Monroe County Learning Bank

    Position Summary:

    The Monroe County Learning Bank is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Education Persistence Liaison to support and engage adult learners in achieving their educational goals. The liaison will play a key role in providing guidance encouragement and resources to help students remain enrolled and complete their programs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with adult learners to support their persistence and success.
    • Identify barriers to student success and connect learners with appropriate resources and support services.
    • Monitor student attendance and engagement providing outreach and interventions as needed.
    • Collaborate with instructors counselors and community organizations to enhance student support.
    • Assist in tracking and reporting student progress and retention data.
    • Plan and facilitate workshops or informational sessions to support student success.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with program guidelines.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in education counseling social work or a related field preferred.
    • Experience working with adult learners or in an educational support role preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data entry.
    • Familiarity with local community resources is a plus.
