Job Description

Grant Writer Parttime Butler PA


Lifesteps a nonprofit agency based in Butler PAis seeking a parttime talented Grant Writer to join the team.The position is responsible for researching planning writing submitting and tracking compelling grant proposals to secure funding in support of the Organizations programs and services.

The position will work 20 24 hours per week with the work being completed onsite during the weekdays Monday through Friday.

Position Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelors degree in English Communications NonProfit Management or a related field.
  • Two 2 years of grant writing experience preferred.
  • Proven written and research abilities that include clear precise and compelling writing.
  • Familiar with grant funding sources.
  • Detailed oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to work effectively in multiagency environments.
  • Commitment to positively impacting the community and individuals the Organization serves
  • Current drivers license and the ability to travel for business utilizingpersonal vehicle.
