Pay and Benefits
Paraprofessional II: $21.78 (approximately $45296 *
Paraprofessional I: $21.11 (approximately $43898
The starting pay for this position is the beginning of the pay range.
DEFINITION: Establish a positive and nurturing relationship with children.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Age and Education: 18 years or older; High school diploma or equivalent; Preference to be given to applicants with 3 or more Early Childhood Education (ECE) Child Development or related field college semester units with grade C or better.
2. Experience: Experience working with children with exceptional needs and/or disabilities.
3. Other: Fingerprint and criminal clearance required.
*Paraprofessional II must have 6 ECE CD or related field college semester units and two years of work experience as a Paraprofessional. Preference is given for experience working with children with exceptional needs and/or disabilities.
Other Requirements:Must have a valid CA. Driver License Registered and Insured Vehicle. Must be authorized to work in the US.
