Job summary
DigiCert is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic EMEA PR Manager with 57 years of experience in public relations within a fastpaced technology company. This role is critical in driving brand awareness media engagement and strategic communications across the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller an excellent relationship builder and someone who thrives in a fastpaced highgrowth innovative environment.
What you will do
- Media Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with toptier media technology journalists and industry influencers across the EMEA region.
- Secure media coverage in relevant outlets to amplify brand messaging and product announcements.
- Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute PR strategies aligned with regional business goals ensuring consistency with global communication objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on regional trends events and news cycles to position the company as a leader in the tech space.
- Content Creation:
- Draft compelling press releases bylines thought leadership pieces and media pitches tailored for the EMEA audience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to localize global messaging and create regionspecific narratives.
- Crisis Communication:
- Serve as the first point of contact for regional crisis and issue management ensuring timely and effective communication to mitigate risks.
- Campaign :
- Lead regional PR campaigns including product launches executive interviews and event publicity.
- Partner with marketing social media and content teams to maximize the impact of campaigns.
- Agency Management:
- Manage relationships with EMEA PR agency ensuring they deliver highquality results within budget.
- Metrics & Reporting:
- Track analyze and report on PR performance metrics providing insights to improve strategies and demonstrate ROI.
- Event Support:
- Provide communications support for regional events.
What you will have
- Experience: 57 years of PR experience in the technology industry with a strong understanding of the EMEA market.
- Skills:
- Exceptional writing editing and storytelling abilities.
- Proven ability to pitch and secure media coverage.
- Strong understanding of media landscapes cultural nuances and trends in EMEA.
- Clear understanding of how journalists think and what they look for in the companies and topics that they cover.
- Ability to decipher what is and isnt news
- Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise technology cybersecurity SaaS or related industries.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
- Attributes:
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across cultures and time zones.
