Essential Functions:
Dictates complete and accurate gross description.
Performs frozen sections and maintains the cryostats
Performs surgical specimen dissection on simple to complex specimens and provides quality material for routine histology studies and other specialized tests as required
Disposes of tissues and reagents according to standard operating procedures
Performs and documents quality control
Performs routine and preventive maintenance processes according to standard operating procedures
Basic Preferred Profile:
PA(ASCP)
Minimum of a bachelors degree
Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Pathologists Assistant program
Salary and Benefits:
80k100k based on experience and title
