Job Description
Park Avenue Group is pleased to partner with a Florida based compounding pharmaceutical company in their search for several Staff Pharmacists .
This position is responsible for ensuring the proper dispensing review and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines and company Standard Operating Procedures. The Staff Pharmacist also provides pharmacy counseling services to patients regarding the effective usage of medications and awareness of drug interactions.
The selected candidate will:
- Verify a large volume of prescription orders accurately.
- Lead a team to meet metrics and deliver products promptly.
- Consult with prescribers for accurate medication use.
- Review and assess medication orders for appropriateness.
- Adhere to state and federal drug laws and regulations.
- Approach all tasks with a friendly and teamoriented attitude.
- Maintain necessary licenses and certifications.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
The qualified candidate will:
- Manage varying workloads and tasks effectively
- Thrive in a fastpaced environment.
- Excel in accurate data entry.
- Possess strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable working on feet for 810 hour shifts.
- Possess a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree 2 years of relevant experience FL State Board of Pharmacy licensure in good standing.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (preferred).
