Job Description

Litigation Lawyer

REALR is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Lawyer for a prominent law firm located in Calgary Alberta dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to individuals and businesses across various sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice representation and guidance to our clients ensuring the highest standard of service and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in various matters including but not limited to civil litigation personal injury family law real estate transactions immigration corporate law and estate planning.
  • Draft and review legal documents contracts agreements pleadings and other legal correspondence.
  • Represent clients in negotiations mediations arbitrations and court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of issues pertaining to Alberta laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate case files records and documentation.
  • Stay informed about changes in legislation legal trends and precedents relevant to Alberta jurisdiction.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships providing personalized attention and exceptional service.
  • Uphold ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of practice.

Requirements:

  • Degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Law Society of Alberta as a practising lawyer in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practising law preferably with a focus on areas relevant to our firms practice areas.
  • Strong knowledge of Alberta laws regulations and court procedures.
  • Excellent research analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism integrity and client advocacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with diverse clients and communities.
  • Experience in litigation and courtroom procedures
  • Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a lawyer
  • Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice to clients
  • Strong negotiation skills to advocate for clients interests
