Job Description

Berglund Luxury burg is looking for a motivated and passionate candidate to join our store as the Service Manager and lead our growing service department. It will oversee the service department for brands BMW MercedesBenz and Volvo.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that customers receive prompt courteous and effective service
  • Serve as a liaison between service staff and customers
  • Take ownership of the customers experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave an positive impression with the customer
  • Manage and Hire technicians and service advisors
  • Interview and make new hires
  • Manage workload distribution
  • Control and maintain a high shop productivity rate
  • Prioritize required services
  • Ensure customer has a positive dealership experience
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries whether phone or in person to assure the customer does not get mishandled
  • Spend quality time building relationships with the customers
  • Train advisors on processes
  • Coach team on selling
  • Obtaining sales and profit objectives
  • Maintaining service records
  • Aiming to finish in the top of CSI rankings
  • Building and maintaining a positive work environment


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical automotive knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to manage others
  • Organized and friendly personality
  • Dealership experience preferred
  • Ability to lead a team successfully
  • Understanding of sales vs. profit
  • Comfortable with technology including: DMS Word Outlook Excel and Teams
