Overview
Susquehanna is looking for a Linux Systems & Storage Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure team in Sydney. This role is a varied one that will leverage your indepth knowledge of Linux and all things storage & software to maintain and optimise our systems. This role will provide a positive and enthusiastic candidate the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies including provisioning configuration management virtualisation storage networking and more. What youll do
- Supporting and optimising our APAC Linux estate; the continuous improvement of our tools and pipelines to ensure that our systems scale as the company grows
- Gaining indepth knowledge and hands on experience of hardware and software configuration applicable to the trading space
- Perform resolution and root cause analysis of storagerelated issues in collaboration with other teams
- Design deploy and perform capacity management of NAS and SAN devices in Susquehannas enterprise environment
- Working with/implementing/supporting tooling/systems such as Puppet Ansible Openstack Airflow File sync protocols VMWare and a suite of monitoring/logging/reporting tools
- Support and administer our storage and backup network infrastructure (Various SAN NAS DAS technologies such as NetAPP Pure GPFS & Vast)
- Major projects in the region such as rolling out new trading platforms deploying new solutions as required by the business and automating/enhancing what we already have in place (iterate and improve!

What were looking for
- A Linux engineer who knows network storage like they know servers a collaborator who puts their team first and loves brainstorming ideas as much as they love deploying great systems and understanding how things work
- Solid experience administering and working with Linux and/or storage systems and associated tooling
- Knowledge of Storage Software/Hardware is essential understanding of Data Centres/trading systems is an advantage
- Solid experience of working with and improving data and storage pipelines
- Demonstrable skills with programming/scripting in Bash Python or any other languages
- Automation focused with a proven track record of designing/delivering end to end systems and solutions with storage/data at scale
