This is a great position for someone interested in jump starting a career within Vail Resorts! Reservations Vacation Coordinators are trained to be guest service experts building the perfect vacation experience for the guests of our renowned Colorado resorts: Vail and Beaver Creek.This position works on a team located in The Seasons Building in Avon minutes from Beaver Creek. This great career opportunity is ideal for the selfmotivated and enthusiastic individual since you have the ability to earn commissions and incentives! The earlier you start the higher your potential toearn more money! We have positions starting in July and lasting through the following April with various options within that time frame as well truly one of the most unique winter seasonal positions available!
In this fun and exciting position the Reservations Vacation Coordinators will be on the phone providing information on all aspects of our guests vacation: flights and transportation from the airport if needed lodging options and packages discounted lift tickets ski or snowboard lessons equipment rentalsand recommendations for other activities and amenities for when guests arrive. Reservation Vacation Coordinators are trained extensively in our different properties and vacation activities and have the unique opportunity to participate in property and activity site tours.You do not need to be a ski/snowboard enthusiast for this position but if you are just one of the many perks of this position is a free season ski pass to all ten of our EPIC Mountains!
Compensation: This position pays $9.50/hour PLUS a generous incentive plan top performers first year average $1315/hour
Please note: All hires will begin as a Seasonal employee. At 60 day review employees withexcellent performance and desiring to stay long term may be considered for a limited number of Year Round positions available
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate is customer focused able to verbally guide our guests through their travel planning. Good communication skills(English) required
- Ability to communicate verbally in other languages is a plus premium paid if determined to be fluent in a second language!
- The ideal candidate will display A Heart for Guest Service and enjoy helping customers over the phone! Able to work on the phone for long periods of time required
- Must be able to talk on the phone and work on a computer at the same time required
- Work on a computerwith a high degree of accuracy and efficient speed / proficient in Microsoft Office required
- Strong skills in time management attention to detail and ability to multitask required
- Able to work a flexible scheduleincluding mornings evenings split shifts weekends &holidays required
- A positive and professional attitude required.
- Enthusiastic attitude of the travel industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with Vail and Beaver Creek Resorts preferred
- Property management software experience: Tour Partner RPOS LMS preferred
- HS Diploma or Equivalent required
- College degreeis a plus but not required
- Call center hospitality or sales experienceis a plus but not required
