We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As an integral part of our organization the Accountant will be responsible for managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role demands a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices as you will handle various accounting functions including managing accounts payable and receivable preparing financial statements and conducting audits. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills attention to detail and a firm grasp of financial software systems. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
  • 58 years of Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment or public account experience
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role
  • Indepth knowledge of accounting software and MS Office (Excel Word etc.
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • 23 years of experience with government accounting preferred
  • Project Accounting experience helpful
  • This position is fully onsite
  • Must Be A US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
  • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Implement and maintain effective accounting policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and financial reviews
  • Respond to internal and external financial inquiries in a timely manner
