About the Position
Ready to flex your superpowers in Quality Assurance and Compliance Were on the lookout for a Quality Assurance/Quality Compliance (QA/QC) Coordinator to collaborate with task managers monitor project quality plans and swoop in to tackle audits like a QA champion! If you get a thrill from ensuring construction and deployment processes follow the proper procedures and you can whip up new quality control processes in a pinch we want to hear from you. This role calls for a keen eye on contract health metrics a talent for assembling crystalclear project status reports and the confidence to represent project leadership in highlevel meetings. This is a longterm fulltime onsite hybrid or remote position located in the greater Washington DC metro area.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Task Manager to maintain compliance with procedures identified in the Project Implementation Manual and Contracts.
- Ensure each project quality plan is being implemented in design construction and deployment processes and adequate records are being maintained for every step.
- Assist in the development of the new quality control processes where needed by collaborating with the project team and stakeholders.
- Oversee and audit ongoing contracts to measure overall contract health through predetermined contract metrics.
- Represent Project Manager and/or Task Manager at meetings as assigned.
- Prepare project status reports to monitor and document ongoing progress of Tasks and record how adequate progress is being made within assigned Task durations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field. Equivalent work experience of at least five 5 years demonstrable experience in quality control and/or safety plus a minimum of two 2 years out of five 5 in the transportation industry will be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
- 3 years of experience in the field of quality audits and project controls in addition to experience in construction or project planning/management of electrical installations or similar infrastructure.
- Demonstrated Quality Assurance experience on rail transit projects.
- Knowledge of ISO9000 quality standards and its application to planning design and construction.
- Demonstrated experience for projects of a similar nature in a QA/QC role.
- Proficiency with Procore.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 (e.g. Outlook Teams Word Excel PowerPoint etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical writing skills.
Compensation Details
The salary range listed for this role is $70k$100k/yr $35$50/hr. The final salary offered is based on multiple factors and is thoughtfully aligned with each candidates level of experience breadth of skills total education achieved certifications/licenses that have been obtained etc.
