Position overview & objectives

  • The position is a business process project manager position.
  • The ideal candidate will have production and business process experience with strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans.
  • The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels ensuring that our goal of innovation is being achieved and all systematic process requirements are met.
  • Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance by providing purpose direction and motivation.
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment identifying schedules scopes budget estimations and implementation plans including risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope schedule and budget.
  • Analyze project status and when necessary revise the scope schedule or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders providing daytoday contact on project status and changes ensuring all established business processes are aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain business processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues as necessary according to project work plan.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams in manufacturing operation to identify business needs and collect necessary data for analytics to recommend solutions.
  • Perform descriptive and predictive analytics to provide insights and foresight to support plant Operations processes including manufacturing and warehouse. Including PC System Metrics and Labeling support.

Skills and Experience

  • Operations experience a requirement.
  • PMP Certification or 10 years equivalent experience
  • Initiative to problem solve within a team environment.
  • Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets.
  • Experience in developing web technologies and software platforms for maximum usability.
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  • Proven success working with all levels of management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office 365 applications and other relevant tools.
  • Experience with system analysis and process improvement is advantageous.

Work environment and physical demands

  • The role will be requiring handling pharmacy inventory including controlled substances.
  • The position may require standing sitting and frequent movement across departments for collaborative purposes.
  • Physical tasks include carrying lifting pushing and pulling items weighing up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to perform various physical movements such as balancing stooping kneeling twisting reaching grasping and walking.
  • Weekend and overtime work might be necessary based on project demands.
