Sanctuary for Families is New Yorks leading service provider and advocate for survivors of domestic violence sex trafficking and related forms of gender violence. Every year Sanctuary empowers thousands of adults and children to move from fear and abuse to safety and stability transforming lives through a comprehensive range of services. We provide a range of wraparound services to help survivors rebuild their lives in the aftermath of abuse and work to end gender violence through three key strategies: direct services outreach and training and systemschange advocacy. Our services are available in 12 locations throughout New York City.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an as Child Care Provider at our Domestic Violence (DV) Shelter. In this role you will play a vital part in creating a supportive and engaging environment for children residing in the shelter for after school and summer programing. The Childcare Provider is responsible for planning and implementing a variety of educational recreational and enrichment activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Budgeted Salary: $25.03$27.65 per hour $45563 $50329 annualized base); pursuant to step wage scale in accordance to collective bargaining agreement.
Work position is Fulltime (standard 35 hours/wk) Hourly/NonExempt
Work schedule is currently Inperson/onsite must be able to meet job location schedule obligations
