Description: The Title I before or afterschool reading and math intervention program will run either two three or four days per week Session 2 will run from March 3 2025 through June 5 2025. The programs will use highquality tier II and/or III reading and math intervention programs with datadriven small groups of students in grades K 8.
Literacy groups in grades k 3 will use Heggerty Phonics program
Literacy groups in grades 4 8 will use Just Words and Read Naturally
Math groups in grades k 2 will use Kickstart Math
Math groups in grades 2 8 will use Do the Math
Working Time:
Required training dates for the Spring: Tuesday February 25 2025 from 3:306:30 PM
Program days/times: Monday through Thursday from 6:45 AM 7:45 AM OR 2:45 PM 3:45PM.
Program dates:
Session 2 Spring Session: Monday March 3 2025 Thursday June 5 2025
No program the weeks of: April 2124
Preferred Qualifications:
Current assignments as a Classroom Teacher ESL Teacher Special Education Teacher or Interventionist at the Keverian Lafayette Madeline English Parlin Webster or Whittier Schools.
Experience and Proficiency in administering Elementary Literacy and Math Screening Assessments
Experience and Proficiency with districtapproved intervention programs
Literacy: mClass Heggerty Just Words
Math: Kickstart Math Do the Math
Remuneration: When applying staff will choose to work either two three or four days per week.
Remuneration will be at $40/hour for the number of hours worked each week plus 1 hour per week for teacher preparation.
Maximum stipends for each option:
Two days per week: $1560 (one session)
Three days per week: $2080 (one session)
Four days per week: $2760 (one session)
Number of Positions: 60 positions total pending funding (session 1 and 2 combined). Appointments will be made at the Keverian Lafayette Madeline English Parlin Webster and Whittier Schools.
