Job Summary: The Electronics Specialist is responsible for analyzing troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems critical to the operation of the Nashville International Airport. These systems include but are not limited to: access control flight information automated vehicle identification and parking revenue control systems.
Essential Job Duties:
- Analyzes troubleshoots and repairs electronic systems critical to airport operations such as security access control flight information automated vehicle identification and parking revenue control systems.
- Programs new field equipment on Flight Information Display System (FIDS) Access Control Parking Revenue Management Systems signage and wireless components.
- Pulls network and low voltage antenna cabling.
- Repairs electronic wiring such as fiber connections and jumpers.
- Replaces mechanical hardware on all electronic systems including security parking wireless and FIDS.
- Terminates network connections and low voltage connections.
- Troubleshoots technology including electronic signs fiber runs network runs wireless radio communications servers and server programs.
- Identifies environmental hazards and addresses in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
- Follows all safety regulations.
- Maintains regular and ontime attendance.
- Supports MNAAs commitment to its culture and values including Respect Integrity Service and Excellence (RISE).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports snow removal as needed to include extended stay at airport during events.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Associates Degree in electronics or a related field.
- At least 2 years electronic or related experience.
