Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for ensuring Head Start standards regulations and Save the ChildrenHead Start policies and procedures are implemented consistently and in full compliance with all applicable standards. You will work as a part of the management team and would be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable State and federal laws and the implementation of program policies and practices relative to Human Resources including planning organizing developing coordinating record keeping reporting and monitoring. You will be responsible for center recruitment orientation training performance management employee recognition communication disciplinary matters and management of employee exit procedures and will report to the Director of Human ResourcesHead Start.
As a frontline representative of Save the Children you are required to ensure the safety and security of children and families that they come in contact with adhering to the agencys values of Accountability Ambition Collaboration Creativity and Integrity. As a Save the Children employee you are expected to prevent child abuse in every situation by striving through mental awareness best practice and training to minimize risk to children. You must take positive steps to protect children who may be a subject of concern and report and respond to any instance of child abuse and promote training & awareness that addresses all child safeguarding obligations.

This position requires the incumbent to operate a motor vehicle to fulfill certain essential functions of the job. The incumbent should maintain a valid drivers license and remain in compliance with any Save the Children policies pertaining to the safe operation of motor vehicles.
Current and former Head Start/Early Head Start parents will receive preference for employment vacancies for which they are qualified.
Compensation
The base pay for this position is starting at $54549. Actual base salary may vary based upon but not limited to experience credentials base salary of internal peers and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
