Job Description
Position Title:Dishwasher
Reports To:Executive Chef
Employment Status:Seasonal; Full & Parttime
Job Summary:
This dishwasher and general utility position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of cookware and cooking utensils using the dish machine and manual cleaning methods. Joining our Back of the House team offers a fast paced fun and energetic work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes glass tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in dish racks to send through the dish machine
- Sort and stack clean dishes transport clean dishes to cooks line and other proper storage areas
- Washes pots and pans by hand in 3compartment sink following the correct order of wash rinse & sanitize
- Setup and breakdown dishwashing area properly thoroughly cleaning the dish machine
- Maintains cleanliness in all areas of front and back of house as needed
- Other duties might include but are not limited to prep work runner stocking
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Good communication and intrapersonal skills
- Ability to be organized in a changing environment
- Must be able to read and fully understand labels on chemicals
- Available to work weekends and evenings
Hours: 8am to 6pm including holidays and weekends
