Job Summary

As a Kitchen Dishwasher / Delivery Driver you will play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the central kitchen. You will assist with cleaning and organizing kitchen equipment support food preparation teams and ensure timely and professional delivery of food to childcare centers. This hybrid role requires strong organizational skills a clean driving record and a dedication to cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Duties

Clean and sanitize cookware containers and food preparation equipment.
Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and kitchen areas including counters cupboards and appliances.
Adhere strictly to food safety hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
Dry sort and organize dishes and equipment after washing.
Assist kitchen staff with general tasks and other duties as assigned.

Delivery Duties

Load delivery vans based on delivery manifests and help other drivers when needed.
Follow scheduled routes and timelines to ensure prompt food deliveries to childcare centers.
Inspect delivery vehicles daily checking lights signals and wear-and-tear issues.
Report any mechanical problems or warning lights immediately.
Clean delivery equipment (bags Cambros) and organize them for the next day.

Job Requirements

Minimum 26 years of age (for insurance purposes).
Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
3 years of work-related driving experience preferred.
12 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen or dishwashing environment.
Current Food Handler Certification.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Able to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working early mornings.
Strong attention to detail time management and teamwork.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must pass a criminal background check and provide two pieces of valid government ID.
Experience in a daycare or childcare setting is considered an asset.
