Job Description

Curative wants to change the view on what a health plan can be. Born out of the pandemic we created a health plan reinvented for a postpandemic world that is built around wholeperson affordable preventive care featuring more benefits. $0 copays and $0 deductibles when members complete the Baseline Visit within 120 days of enrollment into the Plan. The Population Health Team is responsible for driving improved health outcomes leveraging a datafirst mindset to help our members achieve their optimal health wellbeing. A critical part of the Population Health team is ensuring engagement with multiple internal and external stakeholders

Curatives Population Health team is looking for an experienced Population Health Engagement Manager. This role involves building and maintaining internal and external relationships to promote the Baseline Visit Population Health and Care Navigation. The main responsibility is to communicate the value of the Population Health teams work particularly the Baseline Visit and Care Navigation experience. Additionally this role functions as the leader for coordinating driving and ensuring engagement with the Hybrid Onsite Baseline Experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with key internal stakeholders including Care Navigation Leadership Clinical Leadership Sales Account Management and Marketing/Communications
  • Establish and develop strong relationships with key external stakeholders (Brokers Client Groups) in partnership with our Sales and Account Management teams
  • Continue to promote and lead the Hybrid Onsite Baseline Experience. This is a Curative facilitated member experience where both the Care Navigation and Clinical teams conduct a virtual Baseline Visit experience for members who are onsite at an employer group location
  • Partner with our Sales and Account Management teams to be client and broker facing. And operate as the lead for allthings population health baseline visits and care navigation
  • Lead and be responsible for coordinating and communicating population health and care navigation internal management reporting projects/initiatives/activities and any relevant process changes to our Sales and Account Management teams
  • Act as the pointperson and facilitate problem solving for any escalations received from the Sales and Account Management teams brokers and clients

Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities including storytelling via documentation in slide presentations
  • Ability to manage escalations from internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders quickly
  • Ability to analyze challenging situations identify root causes and develop solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and trends on populations from dashboards and reports to accurately communicate insights to brokers and client groups in partnership with Account Management
  • Demonstrated ability for sales and marketing skills where value can be promoted and illustrated to different stakeholders

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a remote environment with the need to have a reliable internet and phone connection
  • Must have a quiet place secure with no distractions to perform duties for work from home
  • Must have password protected stable internet access stipend will be provided
  • Work location MUST be secure and private to maintain HIPAA compliance for work from home
  • Office equipment will be supplied including: PC monitor keyboard mouse headset
  • While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; talk; and hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • We also request with the exception of emergencies that you do not request any time off within the first 120 days of employment. Any request within the first 120 days if approved will be unpaid

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • This position will have direct supervisory responsibility for one employee currently and the chosen candidate will need to possess the ability to lead and partner with others across internal departments.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a fulltime salaried position. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time with flexibility as needed to support different time zones. Our headquarters are in Austin TX so we often operate on Central Time.

Travel:

  • Travel is expected approximately 2550 of the time typically for two annual leadership offsite meetings and occasional onsite travel to employer locations for oversight of the Hybrid Baseline Experience

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in healthcare marketing/communications or business administration
  • Excellent public speaking coaching and facilitation skills (will be evaluated as part of the interview process)
  • Excellent Power Point/Google Slides and storytelling skills (will be evaluated as part of the interview process)
    5 years of experience working in a health plan
  • Experience in representing operational team outcomes to clients and brokers (will be evaluated as part of the interview process)
  • Demonstrated understanding of Operational processes (particularly in Care Navigation/Care Coordination Care Management/Clinical) Sales Account Management and Marketing basic process in a health plan

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Masters degree in healthcare marketing/communications or business administration
  • 7 years of experience in a health plan setting
  • Advanced understanding of Operational processes Sales Account Management and Marketing in a health plan and the impacts operations has on sales and retention
  • Previous experience as a benefit analyst or a health and life insurance producer
