About the Role:
We are seeking a detailed oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing financial data developing forecasts and providing actionable insights to drive decisionmaking and improve financial performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial performance identify trends and prepare detailed reports on key metrics including revenue costs and profitability.
- Month end: Prepare of journal entries and financial reporting.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts to monitor business performance against targets.
- Cost Management: Evaluate manufacturing costs including material labor and overhead to identify areas for efficiency improvement.
- Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis between actuals and budgeted/forecasted figures investigating and explaining discrepancies.
- Capital Investment: Assess financial feasibility and ROI for proposed capital projects and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Data Management: Maintain and update financial models databases and tools to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards while identifying potential risks to the business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations supply chain and other departments to align financial strategies with overall business goals.
- Adhoc Analysis: Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- Proven experience 3 years) in financial analysis preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting manufacturing processes and operational finance.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and criticalthinking skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their financial implications.
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain financial analysis.
- Experience in handling financial audits and compliance reporting.
