Job Description Summary
Assist in research that examines vulnerability resilience and disparities related to disasters and more generally climate change with a focus on older adults and intersectional vulnerabilities with a convergent perspective. The research focuses on critical equityrelated problems such as access and response to warnings mitigation the recovery process and disparities in health consequences in the context of disasters. Work within a multiple interdisciplinary team that conducts a series of theorybased and datadriven research projects including theory development longitudinal data collection data integration and multilevel and system analysis.
Responsibilities
Conduct literature reviews and summarize relevant research findings. Support the preparation of reports presentations and academic papers. Assist with data collection analysis and organization. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
A bachelors degree in health sciences disaster management or related disciplines. Basic understanding of research methodologies and techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Time management skills and the ability to balance academic and research responsibilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
