About NTAM Invest Operations
The NTAM Invest Ops group acts as a bridge between the front end and the back end of Investment Operations supporting & servicing the Portfolio management teams across different geographies. Our focus is on controlled centralized and uninterrupted support for functions that extend beyond those encompassed within the front and back offices. The India NTAM Invest Operations group is comprised of 3 business units who partner with each other to ensure the needs of NTAM Clients are met. The NTAM Invest Ops department serves as a Centre Of Excellence and are at the forefront of leading testing & implementing various projects across the larger NTAM department.
SUMMARY
The Consultant on the NTAM Client Reporting team is responsible for timely and accurate reporting of the clients investments performance. The incumbent needs to work with multiple partner areas to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all information that is provided to both internal and external recipients.
MAJOR DUTIES
The individual will be responsible for calculating and comparing the rate of return using the various data sources including Custodian websites. Also be involved in auditing returns and holdings maintaining the related database up to date
Should have knowledge on Coric application and Coric templates
This role has a high potential to play strongly in problem solving of reporting issues and future strategic business analysis of reporting
Individual is responsible for responding to functions related to product operations product oversight support and development
Coordinate activities with sensitivity on client reports to sustain NTAM reputation as a premier provider of client service while keeping within the standard policies and procedures
Follow specific procedure for each type of client investment reports questionnaires; retrieve the data from applications by carefully following Investment Associates instructions
Work on new projects & train and assist the team whenever required and play a key role in offshoring functions
Calculate the funds monthly performance returns and compare against the benchmark investigate if difference found. May require extracting performance data from external custodian websites
Serves as the point of contact on specific Asset Management product offerings
Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills in the performance calculation and reporting process
Must be able to multitask handle high pressure situations and adhere to multiple deadlines
Identifies improvements to existing processes to further gain operational efficiency and productivity
Interface with portfolio managers product and/or client servicing to understand servicing and clients bespoke requirements
Prior experience on PACE Eagle Aladdin Kurtosys and CORIC Reporting tool would be an added advantage
Responding to consultant & client investment associates Portfolio managers product managers and product specialists
Experience in field of performance measurement and attribution with strong understanding of equity & fixed income products
Knowledge of Asset Management products and clients as well as a thorough understanding of portfolio accounting fundamentals
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Attention to detail and commitment to deadlines are required
Prior Accounting/Finance experience.
Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility and foster excellent working relationships with internal and external partners
Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
Strong Excel Macro and VBA Skills would be highly desirable.
Initiate and support pragmatic innovation within the local business area and advocate to integrate the business into global standards and specifications
Advanced Microsoft Access/Database skills preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Required A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience.
7 years of relevant experience and good understanding of Investment reports Return calculation and fund management.
Power BI SQL experience
Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility and foster excellent working relationships with internal and external partners.
CIPM or CFA a plus.
Investment/Asset Management experience would be an advantage.
Knowledge on Asset Management and AM product offerings would be preferred .
Eligibility
24 Months as a Technical Coordinator /Associate Consultant to move as a Consultant
Movement within TL and Consultant Level will be 12 months
