The Field Support Specialist will support the processes and systems related to servicing our customers and supporting our sales and service staff. The incumbent will provide both administrative and analytical support and will develop our analytical and reporting capabilities to provide insights into key trends and performance indicators

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following;

Administration

  • Perform daytoday administrative tasks such as maintaining files and processing paperwork.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings (booking meeting rooms arranging catering and assist with agenda preparation and meeting minutes as required).

Data Entry

  • Process incoming orders accept POs in Oracle and validate customer information orders and purchase order details.
  • Customer quotes in Salesforce.
  • Enter item data for all new parts assigned to Toronto PSS.
  • Update customer accounts (ship to bill to sold to).

Inventory Management

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and adjustments and Kanban management.
  • Order components to maintain required inventory levels.
  • Prepare and transport small parts to shipping as required.
  • Perform receiving and shipping transactions in Oracle.

RMAs

  • Responsible for the Returned Material Authorization (RMAs) process
  • Arranging pickups of RMAs from customers including the creating/editing of customs documents
  • Performs other duties as required to ensure the success of the team
  • May be required to Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.

Material Handling

  • Receiving of incoming materials processing associated paperwork data entry
  • Picking packing and shipping of product
  • Place inventory in designated locations


Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience in a similar capacity.
  • Has a forklift license or must be willing to undergo the company provided training to operate a forklift.
  • Excellent organizational prioritization problemsolving and multitasking skills.
  • Must be adaptable to changing business needs.
  • A team player with a high level of dedication.
  • Proactive and resourceful.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a high attention to detail.

Physical Effort:

Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the daytoday activity in the workplace. May involve standing sitting walking climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20lbs
