Place Manager (Voids and Lettings)

Working 36.5 hours per week

Were looking for a dynamic leader to manage a team involving the delivery of the Voids / Lettings / Garage / Wise Move services. This is a crucial role where youll guide your team through an exciting service redesign ensuring smooth transitions and effective operations.

As a key player youll directly and indirectly manage staff in accordance with BCC HR Policies and Procedures. Reporting to a Senior Service Manager youll be part of a collaborative team committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Inspire: Manage and motivate your team to deliver excellent services.
  • Navigate Change: Support your team through the ongoing service redesign.
  • Effective Time Management: Juggle conflicting priorities and enquiries with ease.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve issues swiftly and efficiently.

  • Knowledge of Statutory and Regulatory requirements relevant to housing management.
  • A proven track record of delivering value for money delivering cost reductions whilst improving service delivery.
