Mine Site Construction Services (MSCS) is a leading Western Australian family owned civil and mining construction company with over 40 years combined industry experience; specializing in mining services civil engineering earthmoving infrastructure & quarrying services.
We are proud of our reputation for safely delivering exciting projects across Western Australia.
We are seeking a dynamic and forwardthinking Training Advisor to become a key member of the Coburn Mining team.
In this pivotal role you will take charge of competency development and assessment ensure training compliance and drive continuous improvement across our site.
This is an exciting time to join our team as we modernize our training approach and explore innovative ways to enhance workforce capabilities. We are looking for someone who brings fresh perspectives embraces cuttingedge technology and is passionate about shaping the future of training at Mine Site.
Our Coburn Mineral Sands site is based 200km North of Geraldton this role is being offered Fly in Fly out from Perth on 8 days on 6 days off roster.
You will be responsible for:
- Conduct competency assessments across operational areas
- Assist and support departments with planning and scheduling training activities.
- Manage training records for our personnel onsite.
- Use our Rapid Crews system ensuring accurate and up to date records.
- Facilitate inductions and group training sessions as required
- Advocate for safety and drive the successful implementation of safety initiatives across the site
What You Bring:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Extensive heavy mobile plant knowledge
- A strong proficiency in computers and the full MS Office suite
- Experience administering training systems Rapid Crews and Skytrust
- An innovative mindset with a passion for questioning the norm and driving change.
- A proactive approach to identifying and implementing training that aligns with adult learning principles.
