POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the DeanChief Academic Officer this role will provide instruction in clinical skills.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaching 100
- Works with faculty to provide handson student training in clinical skills such as procedures history and physical assessment and diagnostic testing.
- Assists in monitoring the progress of all students to ensure successful progress toward graduation
- Develops preparatory material such as lectures and then delivers to the students in assigned courses.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
N/A
QUALIFICATION(S):
- Health professional with the following degrees: DO MD EMT APN PA
- Clinical experience providing direct patient care their specialty
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be detailed oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Please provide examples of accomplishments skills and publications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in precepting Osteopathic medical students in a clinical setting.
- Experience as an instructor in a clinical skills course or CME course
