Position:Level 2 Paraprofessional (SpecialEducationASD)
Location: Caledonia Elementary
Reports To:Building Principal
Compensation:$15.51 per hour (or more depending on experience) $1.00 per hour differential: 32.5 hours per week/183 Days per year.

Summary of Position:
The Special Education (SE) Paraprofessional assists the teacher in providing for the physical and instructional needs of an individual student with moderate to severe disabilities. The SE Paraprofessional assists with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) including selfhelp behavioral management and instructional programs

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Assists in the transfer of students to and from wheelchairs lifting or positioning. Lift up to 50 pounds.
