We are looking for a Director System Test and Validation to join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies. This role will report to VP Controls & SW Engineering and based in San Jose CA
This is a fully onsite in office role.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage the Test and SW validation team at Bloom Energy and contribute to the product validation roadmap/strategy development
- Understand Bloom Energy system and lead the test and release of the Bloom Energy control and SW modules
- Develop test strategies plans test cases and conduct thorough testing including unit testing integration testing system testing and acceptance testing
- Employ automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
- Define and implement operational processes including configuration and commissioning of control systems.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering
- 12 years of related experience
- Extensive knowledge and applied experience in control system SW engineering Validation and verification process
- Strong skills in trouble shooting reporting problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills and leadershipexperience
- Advantage: General understanding and test experience in cyber security
