Role & responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports including profit and loss statements balance sheets and other accounting schedules.
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as processing payments invoices and other transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements credit card accounts and other general ledger accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in the accounting software.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and accounting standards.
- Assist with audit preparation by organizing relevant documentation and records.
- Generate adhoc financial reports as required by management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience with any ERP/accounting software is a plus.
- Knowledge of GST TDS and other regulatory compliances.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
