Job Description
The Connections Aideassists the PFES Connections programdirector by working with elementary aged students on educational and enrichment activities during our summer program MondayFriday. The position allows the aide to work up to 29 hours per week.
Our summer program is open from May 27 August 8th.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical strength
- Ability to cooperate with other staff members
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
- Dependability and punctuality required
- Ability to respond to emergencies in support of students and school operations
- Have the physical ability to repeatedly lift heavy objects 20 lbs. as needed
- Ability to support school functions and community activities as deemed necessary
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Possess the personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students teachers and parents
- Ability to be dependable and punctual
- CPR certification
