Job Description
Job Title: Phlebotomist
Department: Site Operations
Reports To: Site Manager
Location: MetroMed Clinical Research
Status: Nonexempt (hourly)
Compensation: $17.00 $20.00
Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Phlebotomist to join our growing team at Elite Clinical Network. This position will be responsible for performing medical tests for the diagnosis treatment and prevention of diseases. Ideal candidates will have experience in clinical environments with a current instate phlebotomy license.
Essential Duties:
- Collect and organize blood tissue and other bodily fluid samples from patients
- Process samples for routine testing and analysis
- Package and ship samples to other labs
- Properly record results for further analysis and easy reference
- Monitor inventory samples and supplies
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Work under the supervision of a medical technologist
Qualifications:
- Current instate phlebotomy license
- Previous experience as a clinical technician or in other related fields
