City Housing has just launched its new Housing Management structure that will see us developing even better relationships with our tenants by focusing on People Place and Partnerships.

We are seeking experienced and dynamic Housing Managers to join our team to help drive and support the implementation of new ways of working across our stock profile of approximately 60000 homes.

Were looking for a dynamic leader to manage a team dedicated to Tenancy Management Antisocial Behaviour Investigation and Enforcement. This is a crucial role where youll guide your team through an exciting service redesign ensuring smooth transitions and effective operations.

As a key player youll directly and indirectly manage staff in accordance with BCC HR Policies and Procedures. Reporting to a Senior Service Manager youll be part of a collaborative team committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Inspire: Manage and motivate your team to deliver excellent services.
  • Navigate Change: Support your team through the ongoing service redesign.
  • Effective Time Management: Juggle conflicting priorities and enquiries with ease.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve issues swiftly and efficiently.

In this role you will beaccountable for ensuring that services meet our legal and regulatory responsibilities achieve key performance indicators drive continuous improvement and ensure effective collaboration across the organisation and externally with partners to achieve our aims and objectives.

You will need to have

  • Knowledge of Statutory and Regulatory requirements relevant to housing management.
  • A proven track record of delivering value for money delivering cost reductions whilst improving service delivery.
  • Proven leadership skills that get the best out of colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively.
  • Strong influencing advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • Selfawareness empathy respect and integrity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
