Internship Intelligent Test for RF AnalogDigital Converters

Modern RF architectures must be spacesaving energyefficient and extremely flexible. They are increasingly being implemented with very broadband analog / digital converters to replace previous analog RF functions such as filters or mixers or to replicate them digitally. In this project methods and measurement systems are being developed to precisely measure characteristics such as linearity or signal delays.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Setup RF/MixedSignal measurement systems for analog/digital converters

• Build digital interfaces for analog/digital converters with LabVIEW FPGA

• Develop new measurement procedures for mixedsignal characterization

• Implement scripts in Python or LabVIEW

Who You Are:

You are passionate about wireless technology and like to learn and work with the latest test and measurement techniques and equipment. You can manage your time well and get in touch with mentors with questions to help drive progress and completion of goals and tasks. You work effectively in a group environment problemsolve and diagnose technical issues and propose reasonable solutions.

For this Role You Will Need:

• Ongoing academic studies in Electrical Engineering Information System Technology or comparable field of studies (from 4th semester)

• Basic programming knowledge (e.g. LabVIEW C/C or Python)

• Basic knowledge in signal processing and RF/wireless communications

• Good command of spoken and written English and/or German

• Availability for 4 to 6 months starting in October 2025

• This internship must be a mandatory part of your studies

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience in the practical use of measurement instruments (e.g. Signal Analyzer VNA oscilloscope)

• Interest in RF / MixedSignal measurement systems

• Analytical thinking and a high degree of initiative

• Mastery of a broad toolset for programming debugging and analytics (e.g. Python with Plotly and Pandas VS Code Excel)
