DescriptionMission
As a Receivables and Credit Manager you will drive strategic credit management initiatives ensuring strong cash flow and minimizing financial risk. You will lead and mentor teams both inhouse and through our Business Process Outsourcer while collaborating crossfunctionally to strengthen our financial health.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Credit Management
- Oversee and streamline the endtoend accounts receivable process ensuring accurate invoicing efficient collections and seamless cash application.
- Monitor and manage customer accounts proactively addressing overdue balances disputes and credit holds to secure timely payments.
- Assess and optimize credit risk by evaluating customer creditworthiness setting credit limits and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
- Develop and refine credit policies to align with business objectives and industry best practices.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Sales Finance and Operations teams to resolve payment issues and improve cash flow.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers negotiating payment terms and resolving disputes to protect company interests.
- Lead crossfunctional initiatives to enhance receivables and credit processes across all covered entities.
Strategic Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare and present insightful reports on receivables performance aging analysis and credit risk metrics to senior management.
- Analyze credit trends and identify risks providing strategic recommendations to mitigate financial exposure.
- Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency reduce bad debt and add value across the organization.
Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise mentor and empower the accounts receivable and credit team fostering a highperformance culture.
- Drive best practices to harmonize credit management processes across multiple entities.
Requirements
- 10 years in credit and collections with a strong track record in risk management.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Mathematics or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems
- Ability to anticipate risks develop solutions and drive financial stability.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in managing teams and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Selfstarter with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines autonomously.
- High level of accuracy and accountability in financial operations.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional European language (e.g. German French) is a plus.
